Using the client's logo, a half-page vertical ad is developed to reflect the businesses look. 

Stax History:
- Founded in 1957 as Satellite Records
- Roster spanned pop to blues to rock
- In 1961, the label's name changed to STAX
- Committed to R&B and Soul
- Has it's own studio, A&R staff, writers,      producers, and house band
- Malibu's only record store

Design:
The layout is inspired by the logo's play-on-words. The logo also illustrates a pile of records. By using an overlapping technique and applying some patterns and effects, the finished poster visually represents the business's brand.
